If there was one thing Regina was good at it was playing the fool to annoyance. Of course things were complicated between them. She was afraid to commit to a statement. Of a simple word. A word which she wanted between them. He changed their position and she nuzzled into him. "That does sound a little bit better than Chinese. I suppose I should let my boyfriend treat me to a nice Christmas dinner."

"Yeah? How nice?" She grinned, nuzzling him a little harder. She could hear his heart. And she was sure it couldn't be beating harder and faster than hers. But it did sent a little shiver down her spine at the thought of him caring about her. She knew he did. Try as she might to rationalize it away it always crept back and let her know. Love? Was it love? "Your girlfriend could really use some diamonds."

without a doubt "As nice as she wants." He grinned a she came in more and he shifted them so she was laying on top of him comfortably and his fingers went through her hair gently. Closing his eyes, he enjoyed the moment. He missed her way too much when he was gone.
