A Few Weeks Post Bad Moon Rising.
If there was one thing Misha had a hard time with, it was expressing his feelings in a way that normal people seemed to catch on. Or well, in a way that anyone could catch on. Although, he thought it was rather obvious himself. Really though, Misha just lacked the common sense.
Joram’s suggestion echoed in his head, bouncing around the other millions of ideas that usually called the space home. But now, they were strangely silent. Well, not all of them. Some of them. Other ideas were very, very active. Like Joram’s idea.
Now, most adults would probably balk at the thought of taking advice from a sixteen year old student of theirs. Misha was no such person. At times it was even difficult to tell that the 41 year old man was an adult. His thought process was flighty. He bounced from ideas too quick too pay attention to half the time. Sometimes he couldn’t even follow his own train of thought and would find himself starting on one subject and by the end he wouldn’t even know what the original topic was anymore.
Animals kept his attention though. Even if he would get rambly in his classes, the information he passed on was firmly taught in his eccentric way.
The other thing that kept his attention was a certain Nico Pippindorio.
There was something about the man that just grabbed Misha’s attention. Maybe it was that they shared the same zest for life and had similar workings of the mind. Honestly, the Russian couldn’t remember a time that he had met someone who rambled and seemed to have the same trains of thought. It was exhilarating. It was fascinating.
At some point he realised he had feelings for the other man. It was sometime around when he all but dragged Nico into the woods to catch the demiguise. Or maybe the feelings had been there since their first meeting, but he only really registered it when he watched him with Om.
It was like everything clicked.
That had been a few weeks ago and he had spent the time absolutely perplexed and astonished over his feelings. It wasn't that he chaffed at the idea of a romantic relationship, he just rarely found anyone worth the trouble, especially considering his lifestyle.
But his feet carried him the steps to the Ancient Runes classroom either way. It was a path he took quite frequently. His presence in the class wasn't uncommon and the same could be said for Nico's presence during his own class time.
Sometimes, sixteen year olds had marvelous ideas.
The class appeared the be in session as he slipped in. Nothing unusual enough about that. It became unusual when he walked straight to the front of the room where Nico was. That was a bit different.
But he did it anyways, not caring about the students watching. He had never been one to be easily embarrassed, and that was made entirely obvious as he reached a hand up and pulled the other man into a kiss.
