WHO ARE YOU?
[ PERSONALITY TRAITS ] While Cornelia is like every other teenager when it comes to identity issues, she knows her strong sides and are painfully aware of the bad sides. She's fiercely loyal to friends of hers, and in her quite naïve mind they are just as loyal to her, something she struggles with every time someone proves her wrong.
Because of her backstory, she has a hard time striking up conversations as she has been travelling a lot in her life resulting in very few relations withstanding the ever changing distance. Because of this, she always cherishes when people hang around her and makes her feel welcome.
And so, while she may be strong-willed and intelligent, she's also way too reliant on the people around her. She doesn't hold her tongue when it comes to opinions and emotions, but is also easy to push back if the other part wills it.
[ LIKES ] Knowledge, furry things and that small tingling in your gut when something exciting is about to happen.
[ DISLIKES ] Foods containing meat, secrets being kept from her and hypocrisy
[ STRENGTHS ] Studious, self-confident and easy to work with
[ WEAKNESSES ] A little bit to trusting of others, easily persuaded, and can herself be quite a hypocrite (and she knows it).
[ PET PEEVES ] People interrupting her or ignoring her presence, and people complaining about school like it's a waste of time.
[ HOBBIES ] Singing (mostly to herself though), learning new languages and reading.

WAY BACK WHEN...
[ HISTORY ]
The small Sharpe-family has a very dodgy beginning. As a matter of fact, Cornelia has never heard the name of her own father. She has no clue if it's because of her mother Morena don't actually know his identity, or if she knows and she's just keeping quiet about it. Cornelia has come to terms with it, and even though she's all too curious about it she stopped asking long ago.
This all becomes important in how Cornelia's backstory looks. Throughout her childhood, she has never once stayed in the same city for more than a year at most. That has always meant a special kind of loneliness for the child who always got left at home by her mother. Cornelia never felt any less loved by Morena, and held no grudges against her, as she knew it was to feed the two of them her mother always had to be away. That didn't mean that it hurt any less every time Morena stepped out of the door to be gone for days, sometimes even weeks.
Cornelia always had suspicions about her mother's occupation not being entirely "Christian" so too speak. She also had a nagging thought of her father originating from this mystic occupation. She never brought this up with her mother though, both out of respect but also because she didn't really want to know. To people who asked, she always told them her mother worked as a diplomat of some sort, due to them travelling all the time.
Even though she would've rather stayed at the same place for some kind of stability, it was rather exciting travelling through country after country, seeing new cultures and learning new languages. It actually led her to a new hobby, as she felt like languages was an intellectual challenge she actually had a hard time with, making it that more interesting.
The letter came while they were upheld in Switzerland, and because of that, Cornelia got to stay with the Rosenow family while her mother kept travelling. Maybe her mother rather saw Cornelia having a stable education instead of switching school time after time, and since the Rosenow family was some of the sweetest people Cornelia had ever met, she was grateful and delighted to finally root herself down and begin a life of some consistency.
