Jack had mentioned a few names and luckily he knew where to find the said names. Library. Or Corvus common room, but he had already tried that and found out that both of them were in the Library. Kameron knew that he should have tried there first instead of going all the way up to Corvus from Equueleus. At first he thought that Erebos might have wanted to, but that was a joke. Rejection fucking hurt. Then again it was Erebos Avery, the man who was so interested in David Pierce it was actually astonishing.
Library it was. Shit. Maybe this was harder than he had actually thought it was. His heart actually was still aching and he gave the assistant a slight nod and smile before stepping through the seas of tables. Turning down an aisle of History books. Raises a brow at a a few of the titles and shakes his head with a slightly awkward laugh. Louder than he thought. Turning he booked it down the aisle and that was that. There he was. A smirk played on his lips as he quickly took a page out of Kristian's book.
Stepping up to the table where Leopold and Theodore were sitting hunched over their coursework and thesis work. Perhaps that was what he should actually be focused on. Fuck. Kameron could feel his palms getting sweaty as he looked at the two of them, before tapping Leo on the shoulder. "Hey... I was curious if you wanted to go grab lunch with me sometime? Take a break from Thesis work for a while?"
Theo looked up from his Ancient Runes essay and rose and eyebrow at Kameron, before smiling softly and looking to Leo. Shaking his head, Theo instantly moved back into his train of thought and moved his pen quickly over the notebook paper. It was always interesting the read Theo's papers. Especially for Ancient Runes as they mostly contained riddles for Professor Pippindorio's amusement. Seemed to get him good grades so far.

This school year was nothing but thesis. Which Leo hadn't minded at all. It was why he had stayed on the extra year. This thesis was going to be what gave him the extra edge over everyone else to get the job in the ministry he'd been practically pining for.
The Thought Chamber in the Department of Mysteries. It was like Utopia in Leos mind. Studying the very concept of thought, and all its nuances...
Granted, the fact that Leo was able to go full immersion into his work had left very little time for any interaction outside his House. Which, again, he didn't much mind. Though he was human afterall, and humans tended to get lonely and affection deprived. But no one really wanted to spend a whole lot of time with an over-analytical, obsessive compulsive lie detector. Aside from Theo who had become his closest friend over the years.
The Corvus had simply learned how to bury that section of basic human needs. However that was about to be rather unburied by the handsome Equuleus walking over to him.
Leo's head had turned in the direction of Kam, though his eyes lingered on his papers a few beats longer before he actually looked at him. Blinking a few times he mentally backtracked to what the boy had said, and blinked once more. He'd never really spoken to Kam, and truthfully knew very little about him aside that he seemed to be one of the more genuine and kinder people at the Academy.
"Lunch? Yes, lunch. Um." he looked to his thesis than back up to Kam and smiled softly, finding himself reluctant to tell him no, or explain that his thesis really ought to take precedence. Lunch with a cute boy was hard to pass up and he nodded. " That sounds lovely. I'm sure I could use a break from this before I go crosseyed." he chuckled.

Nervous, that was exactly what Kameron Westhaven was feeling. Of course he would much prefer Rhett, but every single time they tried to talk to each other it ended with a cold shoulder and no answers. That was something that Kameron didn't like. There was no way for him to talk to Rhett without feeling disrespected. Needless to say, that sort of action hurt and now Kameron was going to try and move on and be happy for a little bit. In hopes that Rhett would realize that, hey, Kameron really does love him.
A smile spread across the older Equuleus boy's face as he watched the two of them. Giving Theodore a slight wave, before turning back to Leopold a grin on his lips. "Really? I had actually thought you would say no." That wasn't a lie. At least when Erebos rejected him, he wasn't really that interested in the Ophiuchus boy, but he really did have too many problems. Leo, was safe. He was dashing, intelligent, easy to talk to and really, he was sure the man would be more than understanding had things not worked out.
"We could go now, if you want to take a break. It's really nice outside if you would like to head over to Chillhorn for a while?" Kameron had completely forgot that Theodore was sitting right across the table as he asked all of this blatantly in front of him. Without thinking, because he was an Equuleus, not a corvus.

Leo was a little surprised with himself. His focus had been on his thesis since the start of term, and quite frankly, he was almost certain that in all their time at the Academy he and Kam hadn't said more than a few words to each other. But he was handsome, and certainly one of the nicer people in the school of course. Coupling that with the fact that so many people hooking up and breaking up was admittedly giving Leo a bit of an unignorable case of the lonelies..
"Well I did say yes. " he smiled softly. Leo, had he known the reality of how the bespectacled boy beside him felt, would not have so openly accepted Kams offer. But the fact remained that he and Theo were simply best friends, and no inclination had been made otherwise.
"I suppose a little fresh air may prove a good thing." he nodded quietly before he started to pack up his things, flashing Theo an 'I'll see you later' smile befoe he stood.

Theo had barely moved and instead he continued to write out his numerous essays and he nodded. Looking up only to give Leopold the smile in return and looks back down at his paperwork. Kameron would never fully understand how Corvus students could do nothing, but work all the time. "Right, you did." Sure Kameron was a little on the space cadet side as of late, but could anyone actually blame him? After all he was taking advice from Jack.
Smiling to Theopold, Kameron turned softly and hold out his hands. "Here, let me carry some of your books?"
