NPCs AND NON ESSENTIAL CHARACTERS
SO! Since we are all a rather musey bunch, and some of us make...a lot of characters..some who may not be integral to anything aside from a single thread plot line and such, HERES WHAT TO DO.
IF you have a character, say...one of your characters Dads, or family members who are not really needed for anything other than a thread or two, or for general backgroundy-ness, you can NPC said character from your MAIN account only. To do that, simply post with your main account, but use the face in the thread of the character you are using, as well as their name in the notes section of the thread template.
Now, we all know sometimes characters take on a life of their own, or perhaps they stumble onto a plot and you want to make them a full character. To ensure that you keep the face that you have chosen for the NPC, post in the Face Claims section the same way as usual, but add NPC after your characters name. That way if you decide to make them a full character you have first claim to the face, or if someone would like to use that face and that character is intended to die soon, who ever is waiting will be alerted when that face is freed up once again.
