Outfit
It's just shopping. That's it.
Rhianna kept repeating this to herself like a mantra as she got her clothes out. Sleep had come fitfully last night as her mind wouldn't stop worrying, but she at least slept so that was something. She managed to grab something to eat and a cup of coffee before anyone else really woke up. It was amazing, actually, that she was even able to eat with the way her nerves were going. Taking a deep breath, she opened the window in her room and lit up a cigarette, blowing the smoke out the window as the crisp morning air caressed her face. The nicotine helped her nerves. She closed her eyes as she smoked, reminding herself that this was not Joseph. Even though she knew it, it was a nice reminder to herself. The scars on her body weren't new, but they still held a slight fear in her of getting into another abusive relationship. And that was a stupid thought for a multitude of reasons.
Blowing out the last of the smoke, she put the cigarette out and closed the window. Her watch told her she still had just over an hour and a half until the time Kasch designated. Stretching out, she went and took a shower. The water helped relax her as she watched it flow down her tattooed body. Rather than think of anything that would make her start trying to decipher everything again, she decided to think on what she could get Carwyn for Christmas this year. Her son was almost seventeen, and the last she had saw him was before his 15th birthday, about a year and a half, almost two years ago. That was around the time she finally was able to get away from Joseph.
And now, with limited contact, she hadn't a clue what her son even liked anymore.
Letting out a sigh, she turned off the water and got out, drying off and blow drying her long black hair. Back in her room, she looked over the clothes that Joram had picked out for her the day before. With minimal grumbling about being showed up by a fifteen year old, she slipped into the pants and buttoned them before pulled on the striped shirt. She had to admit, she liked the bow. It was cute. Really, there wasn't a think the kid picked out that she didn't like. Sitting down, she pulled on the shiny boots and then stood up to finish her makeup and brush her teeth.
Her green eyes stared back at her as she looked herself over in the mirror. Another glance at her watch told her that she had enough time to walk down to the front doors without having to hurry. She definitely did not want to be late meeting him, so she grabbed her purse and her jacket and headed through the castle, happy to be going shopping for once regardless of everything else.
